The Department of Statistics at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, is seeking exceptional candidates to teach the DSCI 522 Data Science Workflows course as part of the Master of Data Science (MDS) program. You will find more information about the course here. This position is open to individuals with expertise in the subject matter and a proven track record in teaching and education. A Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields is required, and preference will be given to applicants with a Ph.D.
This is a 1-credit course scheduled to run from November 10th to December 19th, 2025. It is specifically designed for MDS students and emphasizes practical, hands-on learning. The salary range for this position is CAD $8,000 to $10,000.
