How do I print a dvi (DeVice independent) file?

Convert dvi file to ps file then use lpr command to print the converted ps file:

dvips -o outputfilename.ps inputfilename.dvi

lpr -Pprintername outputfilename.dvi

Or pipe it through directly:

dvips filename.dvi | lpr -Pprintername
