How do I join the Statistics Department SLACK workplace?

Anyone with a StatNet email address (username@stat.ubc.ca) can join.
Use your full email address to register. Slack will use this email if you ever need to reset your password.

  1. Go to https://ubc-stat.slack.com
    • Click “Create an account” (top right).
    • If prompted, install the desktop app.
  2. Open the Slack app and select “Create an account.”
    • Enter your StatNet email (e.g., help@stat.ubc.ca).
    • Create a new password (do not use your StatNet or UBC CWL password).
